Circles Screen

Jennifer’s idea for this screen was to use anything circular and metal, to create this room divider with her fellow owner of Shape 3, Inc. for a show at the 310 Gallery on Puyallup Avenue in Tacoma, WA, as part of a show called “The Boudoir” or “don’t look” with a group of artists and artisans called Madera Architectural Elements. MAE has a showroom at 2210 Court A, Tacoma, WA, where the artists have permanent installations to showcase their abilities. Jennifer welded custom hinges to be as invisible as possible, to allow the piece to appear to be a frameless field of circles, both in the found objects that make up the screen as well as the negative spaces created by the circles
