Marcato Phase 2 Condominiums

Vision Tacoma retained the services of BCRA to create a design for the second phase of their condominium and master plan projects, on property located near 15th and Tacoma Avenue. Jennifer acted as Project Architect and Manager, creating designs, renderings, and leading the design team in the creation of a scheme for this 90-unit condominium project. Jennifer brought the entire drawing set through construction documents before the economy turned. This project also led to the retention of the firm for the Master Plan of the entire complex, an 8 block area downhill from Phase 1.

The condominium building layout included a variety of unit types: two story townhomes along Tacoma Avenue (potentially live-work), studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. An exercise room and theater were some of the amenities included in the design. The penthouse units were completely unique, and offered views of Mount Rainier and downtown Tacoma
