Seadragons and Pearls

Created with partner Diane Hansen for Tacoma Housing Authority, this piece was designed to adorn the corner of a newly completed low income housing project. The concept for the piece was inspired by sea horses, whose male typically carry the young, reminding us of the struggles and adjustments these families make to make ends meet and care for their children. This project was won through a public art competition and completed in 2015.
