A.lure South Park Identifier

Together with partner Diane Hansen, Jennifer worked with community members of the South Park neighborhood of Seattle to design an iconic piece to celebrate the diversity of the cultures and rich history of this community.

The original source of produce for Pike Place Market, Mara Farms, and yearly Lucha Libre competitions in the streets of South Park were just some of the inspiration for the objects that make up the body of the giant angler fish, luring visitors to South Park. Diane and Jennifer created the final sculpture themselves, building the sculpture at the studio of Randy Kirk, utilizing Randy and other skilled local craftsmen to fabricate, paint and install the piece.
