Bay Terrace Sea Branches and Pearls

Created with partner Diane Hansen, this piece was created to adorn the corner of a newly completed low income housing project. The concept for the piece was inspired by sea horses, whose male typically carry the young, reminding us of the struggles and creative adjustments these families make to make ends meet and care for their children. Lasercut, painted, rusted steel, cast glass. Additional vines planted to emerge through the work over time.
