Modern Family Home

This residential project was new construction with a view of East Bay in Gig Harbor, WA. Weddermann Architecture worked with the homeowner to design their dream home. Conceptually the family wanted a modern architectural sensibility with as many sustainable strategies implemented as possible: from in floor heating to passive cooling and geothermal, this home has reduced the family’s energy costs to a fraction of homes of similar size. The raw steel siding was fabricated and installed by Weddermann Architecture as well.
