Terra Blanca Winery

In 1999, Jennifer met Keith Pilgrim, who asked her to research wineries throughout northern California to create a new 20,000 square foot winery building for Terra Blanca. Keith is well-versed in using geothermal, and wanted to utilize the slope of the hillside for natural cooling of the lowest level of the structure, where wine-making and bottling occur. The upper level houses the tasting rooms, commercial kitchen and pizza oven, and banquet spaces. A generous Mediterranean inspired stone porch surrounds two sides of the building, concealing shotcrete caves below for wine storage and tours.
