Whirling Nuts

Jennifer won a public art competition to create seven 8-foot steel and glass sculptures for a Tacoma Housing Authority's senior housing complex. Inspired by the concept of “rebirth,” her design features whirling nuts, winged seeds that symbolize knowledge taking flight and passing to future generations.

Jennifer led the artwork’s design, fabrication, and installation, coordinating with the contractor and structural requirements, including wind-load testing. The sculptures transform the building’s exterior into a distinctive artistic landmark celebrating residents and their lasting contributions.
